Former
a boundary colony, now a hamlet (585 m) in Mladkov highland was found
by František Adam of Bubna on April 22nd 1679 for stonecutters working
in his sandstone quarries. The name is educed from a duty to watch for
merchants who didn ´t mean to pay customs. An inn used to stand here called
" In the mill". In 1930 Czech Touring Club in Hradec Králové
bought it and remodeled, put an depandance to it at once and under the
name "Hrádeček (Small castle)" opened to the public on June
19th 1932. After 1945 it was renamed to a "Chalet na Čiháku".
Late
Empire style St. Anna chapel with a square tower built in 1849 and a cross
dated 1834 to its fore is standing nearby.
