Zdobnice, formerly Velká Zdobnice, is a n upland village and resort centre (605m) in the Zdobnice stream valley under Zakletý (Elf-struck) and Tetřevec (Moorlandcock) hills. Route from foothill Rychnov is passing off the village upwards to Deštné (Rainy Spot) and Říčky (Brooks). The village arose before 1300, but all landmarks originate in baroque period - a stone bridge with statues, The Good Shepherd church (1788) and St.Anna chapel in Zdobnička (1787).
